Jamaica's newest rising dancehall star JAMERICAN takes flight with his latest music video, "Hustle Grind Shine". The "Hustle Grind Shine" follow up single sees JAMERICAN teaming up once again with french reggae & trap dancehall producer Kung Fu Beats. "This is a reggae & trap dancehall anthem for all the hard working people in the world" stated JAMERICAN. He goes on to add that the single demands that you live it up a little after you put in the hard work to achieve your goals in life.
The music video is another outlandish cartoon-like fantastical visual directed by Earlington Taylor & produced by JAMERICAN's label, Jamerican Productions. This time around we find JAMERICAN on a private jet with a llama & a unicorn who just so happens to DJ some of his lyrics in Jamaican patois from time to time.
JAMERICAN now resides in Los Angeles where he has performed live opening for reggae and dancehall stars like Beenie Man, Elephant Man & Wayne Wonder just to name a few.
Walking the line between two complex cultures, JAMERICAN's music embodies Jamaica's roots & swagger which marries the American lifestyle. JAMERICAN fuses reggae & dancehall music's grit & hunger with trap hip hop's edge.

“Booyaka” or, as dancehall and reggae star JAMERICAN insists on the spelling, “Buyaka”, has passed into common parlance around the world, from the streets of Kingston to Ali G. However, it continues to be ignored by the arbitrators of all things lexicological, leading to JAMERICAN appealing to the land of Shakespeare and Dickens to finally allow the word to be officially recognised. He is releasing Step in a the Club and its buyaka-heavy hook to become the official anthem of his crusade.
